Full Moon in Sagittarius - Shedding Skin

Updated: Apr 21, 2020

Monday 17th June 9:31am

I'm posting this a bit early, firstly because i'm going away for the weekend, and secondly, might be good to know this in advance!

I wasn't expecting to get bounced on my head last week! I was so charged up and ready for the New Moon, but despite all my efforts, I got nothing but exhaustion and frustration. From what I gather, i'm not the only one either. It makes me wonder if we are really supposed to be pushing so hard? Well, definitely not while active Mars is in the watery inward sign of Cancer. Learnt my lesson there. Mars will be moving into Leo beginning of July, that will feel much more creative and productive. But for now we must just allow ourselves to be present, feel into our position at this time, and relinquish control.

The Full Moon will be happening in the fire sign of Sagittarius and conjunct ruler planet Jupiter. This will make it feel a bit like a SuperMoon. We are also nearing Eclipse season, so big changes are just around the corner, this moon will be cleansing you in preparation.

Sagittarius is an optimistic and expansive energy related to philosophy and beliefs, although tension is tight between other planets up there on the Cancer/Capricorn axis. Emotions could be tense at times and we could find our minds getting very energised. It would be my advice to OBSERVE the EMOTIONS more than the mind. Use the higher mental energy of Sagittarius to decide what beliefs no longer feel true to you, but DO allow yourself to be EMOTIONAL no matter what your mind has to say.

The snake is a powerful life force energy that brings passion, healing and renewal. As we recover from our hurts and childhood wounds, like the snake we can shed old skin and welcome the vulnerable pink underbelly which brings a fresh experience to life. There is no need to dwell on any old wounds if the healing has already been done, release it once and for all during this transformational time and let your kundalini gracefully rise.
